Hi, I am about to become 50 in a few weeks time, and was wondering about lense replacemnet impplants. I have thin cornea so laser surgery is not an option.

What sort of costs are involved?

At 67 and with the start of macular degeneration should I be taking minerals/vitamins. I wear spectacles all the time at present and sunglasses on sunny days. Do I need to look for other help?

There are many newer, less risky, glaucoma surgeries available now. One that I have seen good results with is Canaloplasty. Unfortunately, there is very little information on the web about these new procedures. For that reason I have created a Canaloplasty FAQ page at www.New-Glaucoma-Treatments.com
